Dusk and Dawn 

I was in charge of the design for Dusk and Dawn, a game created during OCAD U's 3D Game Design course for the Winter 2021 term. 

Set on a tower that's split between times, the two Chosens: Dusk, and Dawn, must embark on their own individual journey to reach the top in order to reunite and create Twilight. Taking inspiriation from A Short Hike, our team wanted to accomplish a similar comfy, and unique atmosphere through it's pixelated low-poly visuals.


Gameplay

 Gameplay involves players switching between Dusk, and Dawn, each with their own unique NPCs and stories to follow as they make their way up the tower. Dusk, and Dawn live on opposite sides of the tower, meaning that as players use Dawn, they can only see her two point of views of the tower, while switching to Dusk will allow players to view her perspective. 

The tower is divided into floors that involve solving puzzles in which players will have to utilize both characters' viewpoints to solve them, or fulfill quests from NPCs.
